An estimated crowd of several thousand people lined downtown Chillicothe streets Saturday night as 62 Kenworth Trucks from all over North America highlighted the 50th anniversary of the Chillicothe Kenworth Plant.
Drivers from as far west as California and South Dakota to the east coast participated in the third annual parade in Chillicothe.
The 2024 Grand Marshal of the parade was 50 year employee Dan Murphy, who retired in May of this year. Dan came on board at Chillicothe Kenworth on April 8th, 1974, soon after the plant opened its doors on March 4th of that year.
