Scioto County Economic Development posted some exciting news for the region on its Facebook page Sunday.
“This week, the Scioto County Commissioners and the Scioto County Economic Development Department took a major step forward in establishing natural gas at the SOAR Business Park being developed at the Greater Regional Airport” the post stated.
The airport is located in Minford, Ohio.
The project is expected to be worth $2.8 million for the Business Park.
“Utility Pipeline Ltd. of Canton, Ohio, will begin the process of planning and building out a distribution network… Grants and other methods of funding are being sought in hopes of starting construction in the near future.”
Groundbreaking could begin before the end of summer 2021.
