(Waverly) – There’s been a slight change of plans, but for the better.
The Pike County Fairgrounds will play host March 5th, 2022, for a Back the Blue Concert. The event gets underway at 7pm.
A winner of the Henry American Beauty .22 will be held, along with the selling of raffle tickets for additional prizes, and tickets for Split the Pot.
Tickets are only $10 per person at the event. Children 10 years old and younger are FREE.
Gatti’s Pizza is bringing their food truck. All you’ll have to bring is a cooler for your drinks and a lawn chair if you prefer.
All money collected during this event will be given to the Auxiliaries of the Waverly Police Department, Piketon Police Department, and the Reserves of the Pike County Sheriff’s Office.
So, we went to the Fairgrounds at 7:00 and no evidence of anything going on…what happened?
We spoke with the organizers. The event was held in the Show Arena at the Fairgrounds and had a nice turnout. There were signs directing visitors to the Arena. Sorry you missed the event.
