(Piketon) – The Workforce & Business Development Program (W&B) of the Community Action Committee of Pike County (CAC) will be preparing Federal and State Tax Returns in their Free Tax Preparation Program starting January 22nd. This service is FREE OF CHARGE for low-to-moderate-income taxpayers. Submissions to the IRS will begin on January 29th.
The Volunteer Preparers are certified by the IRS to prepare and complete tax returns. 2023 Income Tax Returns will be accepted through our “Drop Off” process at Community Action Committee of Pike County at 941 Market Street, Piketon.
Intake forms and envelopes are available in the Front Office and at the OhioMeansJobs Career Center and must be fully completed to provide the information needed to prepare all tax returns. All tax documents, photo ID, and proof of Social Security Numbers are required.
Income Tax Returns will be accepted in the Front Office and in the OhioMeansJobs Career Center Monday through Thursday from 8am to 4:30pm. The tax deadline is April 15, 2024.
