Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has announced that the state’s eligibility for COVID-19 vaccines will be available to everyone age 16 and over by March 29th.
People age 40+ will be eligible starting this Friday, March 19th along with those with cancer and obesity. DeWine made the announcement Tuesday morning at a press conference in Cleveland.
The eligibility for Phase 1E — those with chronic kidney disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, heart disease, obesity and Phase 2C — those 40 and older starts Friday.
DeWine was in Cleveland for the “soft launch” of Ohio’s first federally coordinated mass COVID-19 vaccination clinic.
