November 7th election results in area counties included candidate races for city and township offices, along with statewide and local issues.
Tuesday election results. Many mayoral elections in our area were unopposed, but Chillicothe incumbent Luke Feeney won re-election with 52% of the vote. In Circleville, Michelle Blanton was elected to her first term with 62% of the vote. Don G. McDaniel will become mayor in his first term in Lancaster, as he was unopposed. Current Mayor David Scheffler is retiring after this term.
Ohio State Issue 1 and Issue 2 both passed.
