DEADLINE: Tuesday, March 15, 2022
COMPENSATION: Up to $6,000
It is most appropriate to name a scholarship or internship after Bruce Lombardo, He was an amazing individual. He did a great deal locally to popularize native American Earthworks and the ancient cultural remains of that civilization. Bruce gave freely of his time and energy to present talks at Historical Society, Rotary Club, etc. in his various roles with the National Park Service, Arc of Appalachia (acquirer and preserver of many heritage sites). The last I heard he was in Kenya spreading his good works abroad. He physically left us much too soon. Hopefully, OU-C will dedicate and endow a scholarship in his name.
